EastEnders ‘confirms’ who will expose Reiss – and it’s unexpected
Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) might think he’s got away with murder and kidnap in EastEnders – but he probably shouldn’t get too comfortable.
The BBC soap has hinted that a new character is onto him in light of Bianca Jackson’s (Patsy Palmer) sudden disappearance.
As fans know, Reiss took the Walford legend hostage last week after he finally admitted to her he’d smothered comatose wife Debbie to death earlier this year.
Since then, Bianca’s best mate Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) has been deeply concerned for her, believing she fled the Square after attacking Reiss with a candlestick.
Having not been able to get ahold of Bianca, on Monday, Kat was given food for thought when her ex Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) warned her not to trust Reiss.
She stormed over to see Reiss and demanded answers, but things were left ‘to be continued’ after he ushered her out.
On Tuesday, Reiss took action to try and quell Kat’s suspicions by sending her a text from Bianca’s phone saying she was just ‘lying low’ and for her not to worry.
However, Kat admitted to partner Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) that something still did not feel right, especially as ‘Bianca’ had turned her phone off after sending the message.
The couple later bumped into Reiss at The Vic, where Kat lied and told him everything was ‘fine’.
As he left, Reiss breathed a sigh of relief – but something tells us that Kat isn’t going to let this go so easily…
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and from 6am on iPlayer.
