Caleb has upset another Dales resident as he betrays one of his friends
JAI Sharma will be left fuming after he finds out Caleb went behind his back and undermines him
In scenes this week, Emmerdale viewers will watch as Jai’s humiliated to hear that, despite his earlier refusal, Caleb’s offered Kerry a job without consulting him.
At the end of his tether, Jai demands back the money Caleb hid for him in an offshore account.
Playing along, Caleb makes a call and proves that it can’t be done immediately.
Viewers will be left wondering whether Jai back down or whether he will take things further.
The betrayal by Caleb comes after the huge shock for wife Ruby Fox-Milligan, when she discovered Caleb had cooly lied and had secretly taken £100,000 from her dying mother Helen’s inheritance without telling a single soul.
He attempted to cover it up by not letting on that he knew anything to Ruby.
However, upon investigations into the will, she was shocked to hear from the solicitor that she had spoken to Caleb about the missing £100k.
In an explosive row, she confronted Caleb and finally got the truth from him and it looked like this could be it for the couple’s marriage.
In other scenes, Paddy is left compromised when Tom threatens to air the vets’ dirty laundry unless he gets his job back.
Last week Tom was left seething and sickened to realise that the ‘Guy’ being thrown on the bonfire for celebrations had his likeness in what appeared to be a joke from he rest of the village.
Things got tense at the bonfire as the villagers watched the Guy burn and when the Dingles each claimed to be responsible for making the ‘Guy’, which only served to make Tom more angry.
As a result, an intimidated Tom lost his cool and took it out on new partner Amelia Spencer.
In the past, Amelia has previously ignored warnings about the controlling and abusive side of Tom, choosing to believe her new partner instead.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
