Unexpectedly, Dawn suggested to Billy and Ross that they should engage in the fight to get rid of Jade and make it appear authentic – with Ross emerging as the victor.
During Thursday’s (November 7) visit to the village, assertive promoter Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore) insisted that the bare-knuckle fight be held in the barn at Butler’s Farm, reports Leeds Live.
Meanwhile, Dawn encouraged Billy to adhere to their strategy and let Ross win the fight. However, desiring an exciting spectacle, Jade proposed a bonus for Billy if he was entertaining, but Dawn assured they could earn much more money if he survived three rounds before Ross knocked him down.
As the fight commenced, Ross provided the entertainment, but it was Billy who seemed to have the advantage.

Dawn observed with a worried look, but as Ross began to dominate the fight, Billy rose from the floor instead of accepting defeat.
John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) rocked up to the barn like a cat on a hot tin roof, tipping off Aaron (Danny Miller) and Mack (Lawrence Robb) that bobbies were on their tails. In a flap, Jade killed the fight, with her squad scrambling to grab their gear and scarper.
When a pair of hard nuts couldn’t find the wad of cash, Aaron tried to stop one from doing a runner but copped a swift knuckle sandwich instead. Aaron let out a yelp before hitting the deck of the barn.
A copper called for the ambulance while John leapt into action to give Aaron a hand, leaving Mack staring, totally useless.

On the flip side, Dawn and Billy did a bunk, but she was spitting feathers ’cause her hubby didn’t keep to the script during the ruckus. Billy tried to say sorry, but she wasn’t having any of it and legged it solo.
Back at the ranch, Dawn lobbed the news at Billy she’d chucked her wedding bling at the pawnbrokers to back Ross in a bet for a pretty penny.
But since Billy messed up the plan, they were skint. As Billy vowed to redeem the rock, Dawn was left wondering if their love story was kaput.
“Do what you want,” she fired off. “Get it back, don’t get it back. But right now, I don’t see myself wearing it again.” Is this curtains for Billy and Dawns nuptials?

Some Emmerdale viewers reckon Dawn might end up cosying up to Ross again as sparks flew between them before.
Hitting the net, one soap addict questioned: “#Emmerdale does Dawn still fancy Ross?” Another chimed in: “Dawn and Ross gonna sleep together soon then #Emmerdale.”
A third fan speculated: “Is Billy going to get badly injured? Also Ross has a connection to Dawn. I sense things aren’t going go to Dawn plan. #Emmerdale.”
Meanwhile, another viewer had some strong advice for Billy, tweeting: “Billy should leave dawn. Say I will be there for the kids but not her. She is hard work! #Emmerdale.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm.
