EastEnders fans work out unexpected continuation of The Six story – as a character returns

EastEnders viewers are convinced that evil Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) will make a spectacular return in the wake of his arrest.

The twisted businessman was carted off in the back of a police car as he took responsibility for Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder in last night’s episode.

As he drove off through the Bridge Street Market, ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and fellow Walford women Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) watched a fireworks display – firmly believing that their ordeal is over.

That surely is too good to be true, right?

After a week of trying to piece together the events of Christmas Day, Nish then made a deal with Suki that would secure her future.

He told her that if she agreed to get back with him until he succumbs to his terminal illness, he would go to the police station and admit to killing Keanu.

Unfortunately, he overheard Suki telling Stacey that she planned to turn her back on him. Later, after attacking her, granddaughter Avani – who was also recently abused by a partner – gave him much needed food for thought.

He gathered The Six at The Queen Vic, asking the ladies every gruesome detail concerning exactly where Keanu was stabbed, which weapon, and how they buried his body.

Nish then relayed the finer details of the story, and it seemed to seal his fate.

Over on discussion site Reddit, some viewers have become convinced that we will see more of the dastardly character on our screens before he dies.

‘Usually when an actor leaves the show official EastEnders accounts such as instagram or X will post a compilation video or pictures of the character thanking the actor who played them’ noticed user Darth_Sidious10.

‘They haven’t done this for Nish/Navin’ they continued.

‘When both Dean and Bobby left there were posts made within 15 minutes of the episode airing all over their social media accounts.’

Navin has since tried to dispel this rumour, sharing his own tribute to Instagram, writing: ‘Nish Panesar 2022-2024.’

Referencing a recent appearance on The One Show, user Azyall said: ‘When he was on the One Show last night with a longer/bushier beard he was saying how his wife wanted him to make it clear it was a stylistic choice for Nish and not his personal choice.’

‘From that we can assume he is still filming scenes.’

Moreghostthanperson theorised: ‘He asked Suki to visit him in prison and she didn’t reject the request. I’d imagine there will be a few prison visit scenes to come at the very least.’

Nish certainly is the character we love to hate, the perfect villain – so we truly hope this isn’t the end!
