It’s Bonfire Night in EastEnders, so you had better expect the traditional fireworks to be wild – you won’t be disappointed!

Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) has the measure of murdering Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman), sparking a long-awaited showdown.

Backed into a corner, Reiss’ denials fall flat but drastic action unfolds and a number of twists follow – with major consequences for them both.

And they aren’t the only ones facing the end, with the blackmail plot heating up against Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

Both his career and his very freedom are soon on the line…

It’s a happier tale, though, for Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who share a kiss.

Is this the beginning of a full reunion?

Monday November 4

Reiss arrives home to find hostile Bianca ensconced at No.25. Things get worse for him when excited Teddy reveals that his PI friend has CCTV from a warehouse near Debbie’s care home.

Bianca demands to come to see it, but Reiss manages to give her the slip and heads to the warehouse with Teddy and watches the footage alone. Stunned by what he sees, Reiss sneaks out with the flash drive.

Angry Teddy tells Bianca that Reiss did a runner. Storming over to No.25, Bianca bangs on the door, demanding answers from Reiss, who is so terrified he’s locked himself inside.

Kat is in pieces ahead of the social services meeting about Tommy and continues to blank Stacey and Jean.

Alfie begs Stacey to call a truce and tells a fib to get Kat to meet the Slaters at The Vic. When she arrives, Kat is furious to have been hoodwinked, but Alfie gives an impassioned speech and they reconcile.

After Kat tells Alfie she’s grateful, Freddie notes how insane their chemistry is, and Alfie admits he still has feelings for Kat.

Barney returns from a visit to his mum’s and makes it clear he’s still annoyed with Teddy and Harry. Teddy starts thinking about how to win Barney round and make him proud of his family.

Tuesday November 5

Reiss can no longer hide from Bianca when she collars him at the café with Martin and demands answers.

However, Bianca is given fresh hope when Teddy hands her the other copy of the footage. At The Vic, Reiss lies to Teddy, prompting Teddy to admit Bianca has another copy and is about to watch it. Reiss races to No.25…

After a tricky morning at the flat, Ian gives Alfie some advice about how to approach the awkward situation he’s in with Kat. At the social services meeting, Kat is devastated by how cold Tommy is towards her and fears they’ll never get their boy back.

However, the social worker says they can begin to work towards Tommy returning home.

Alfie tells the social worker that they desperately want Tommy back for Christmas and even manages to get through to their son a little, ending the session on a positive note. Back at the flat, grateful Kat surprises Alfie with a kiss.

Teddy reveals to Harry that he intends to buy Peggy’s and become a respectable businessman to impress Barney.

He tasks Harry with finding out what went on when Barney visited their mum, but Harry’s heavy-handed approach leaves Barney even more isolated and Teddy in despair.

Meanwhile, Penny is hurt by Jack’s dismissive reaction to the news she’s received her court summons, so asks Harry to help her punish him by turning up the pressure on her dad. Elsewhere, Denise continues to worry for struggling Avani.

Wednesday November 6

It’s Bonfire Night in the Square, but the real fireworks are going off at No.25 as Bianca and Reiss have the ultimate showdown.

Kat goes to get Stacey’s take on the confusing situation between her and Alfie, while he seeks counsel from Ian and Freddie.

Harry turns the screw on Jack by telling him that he’s got a job for him. Although Jack angrily declines, Harry reminds him that if he doesn’t collect a stolen motor as instructed, he’ll destroy Jack’s career and put him behind bars, using the incriminating video.

Thursday November 7

Reiss and Bianca’s showdown has huge consequences for them both.

Jack is in a dire situation as he realises that Harry’s job clashes with Amy’s physio appointment.

He prioritises Amy but makes it back just in time to do the car job. Lurking nearby, Harry takes photos of Jack picking up the dodgy motor.

Back in the Square, Jack is distracted by a text from Harry and drives into the back of Reiss’ car, causing damage to the stolen motor.
