Emmerdale’s Rose ‘set for explosive return’ as baby bombshell for Will ‘revealed’
Emmerdale's Rose Jackson has not been seen in the village for months after she went on the run - but fans are convinced that she could be making a comeback.
Emmerdale’s Rose Jackson, played by Christine Tremarco, could be set for a sensational return to the Dales, complete with a major baby revelation.
Rose arrived in the Dales earlier this year, seemingly intent on reconnecting with her estranged family, including daughter Dawn, portrayed by Olivia Bromley.
However, it transpired that Rose was conspiring with Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) to bring down Kim Tate (Claire King), by seducing Kim’s husband and her own ex, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).
Kim eventually discovered Rose’s plot against her, leading to Rose being ousted from the village. But the plot thickened when Rose vanished, leaving Kim and Will suspecting they may have killed her.
In a twist, it was later disclosed that Rose was alive and well in Ibiza. The drama escalated when Will began receiving blackmail threats over his tryst with Rose, reports Leeds Live.
Rose was last seen a few months ago
Kim revealed herself as the blackmailer, leaving Will shocked and furious. Kim has since demanded a divorce from Will, who is now hellbent on ruining Kim.
As he prepares to battle his ex-wife, Will is resolved to claim half of Kim’s wealth, despite their pre-nuptial agreement. Naturally, Kim is ready to fight tooth and nail to protect her assets.
Hints in recent episodes suggest that a potential rekindling could be on the cards for the troubled pair, notably since Zak Dingle’s (played by Steve Halliwell) recent departure from the storyline. Yet viewers have been quick to observe Rose’s conspicuous absence amidst the ongoing drama, despite her significant involvement earlier in the year.
Rose slept with Will earlier this year
Nonetheless, some fans are abuzz with speculation that Rose might make a surprising return, armed with an astounding revelation for Will. A speculative fan posted on an Emmerdale Facebook group: “Is Rose going to come back? Another silly story.”
Echoing this sentiment, another fan remarked: “I hope they do bring Rose back.” Another fan chimed in with a guess that Rose might announce a pregnancy, stating: “She will probably return with Will’s baby.”
A different viewer commented, hoping for plot advancement: “I hope so just so Kim finally ends it with Will, he’s such a sleaze!” A fifth predicted confidently: “I think she’ll be back soon.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
