One EastEnders star told The Mirror there were twists ahead as he teased drama involving villain Nish Panesar, amid a worrying new feud simmering between two families
An EastEnders star has promised “twists and turns” ahead on the BBC soap amid two huge new plots for his onscreen family.
This week will see a dark new feud simmer between the Panesar and Gulati family, and the Mitchells. While things have always been tense between the two families, events this week will see things take a dramatic turn.
As well as this spoilers for next week confirm evil Nish Panesar is back to his old tricks, targeting ex Suki Panesar and getting closer to the truth about The Six. With it teased “fiery” scenes are on the way, it’s an eventful time for all involved.
Tuesday night’s episode saw Ravi Gulati spark a war with Teddy and Harry Mitchell, after he attacked Barney Mitchell. Barney had been accused of assaulting Ravi’s daughter Avani.
By the end of the episode the battle lines were drawn, and someone had torched one of the Panesar family’s businesses. As Nish, Avani, Ravi and Vinny watched the blaze in horror, Teddy and Harry were seen watching on and smirking.
This was spotted by Ravi and his father Nish, with Nish figuring out who was to blame. Ravi told him: “We’ve just made ourselves a new enemy.”

Scenes this week will see the feud escalate, as the Panesars discuss next steps, and how to get back at the Mitchells. But how far will those involved go?
Vinny actor Shiv Jalota recently teased what was ahead, and perhaps the fire twist was what he was referring to when he told us: “There is gonna be a lot of fire,” while remaining coy. He also teased more drama would follow, while he appeared to be referencing his father Nish.
He told us: “I can’t say too much. There’s gonna be [twists and turns ahead]. Nish Panesar is such a massive villain, and Navin Chowdhry plays him so well. Anything can happen at the moment. The soap is so good right now that it’s all unpredictable.
“I don’t know what will happen next but there is a lot more to come.” It’s not clear if he’s referring to the Mitchell drama, or the big stuff happening next week with The Six.
With Nish’s exit on the way, next week he figures out Suki and the others are hiding something about what happened at Christmas. Viewers know that Denise Fox attacked Nish who was trying to kill Suki, while Linda Carter went on to kill Keanu Taylor with the women covering up both crimes. But when Nish confronts the women next week there’s a showdown…
