Emmerdale double death as fans ‘work out’ unlikely villager finally kills Tom King
Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who will bring down Tom King as Belle Dingle is arrested for breaching her bail conditions.
Amelia Spencer seems to have fallen for Tom’s lies
Emmerdale fans reckon they’ve cracked the code on who will kill Tom King, yet there’s a chance that more than one local could die in the ensuing drama.
The controversial Tom King (portrayed by actor James Chase) has been exerting his control over Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for months. In explosive recent episodes, Belle lashed out at her husband with an axe and subsequently turned herself into the police.
Despite Tom’s attempts at coercion, the much-loved Dingle ultimately spilled the truth about her ordeal to the constables, triggering an active probe into her claims. Meanwhile, Belle has received stern instructions to steer clear of Tom or risk being arrested.
Further stirring up conflict, the scheming veterinarian has been spreading slanderous claims about Belle’s mental stability to the villagers, attempting to discredit her allegations. All but the ingenuous Amelia Spencer (played by Daisy Campbell) are skeptical, as she appears to have been duped by Tom’s deception.
With Tom’s guise faltering, engaged viewers have been brainstorming predictions and possibilities regarding the storyline’s next twist, reports Leeds Live.

A certain enthusiast posited on an Emmerdale-focused Facebook discussion group that Tom’s downfall might be imminent, suggesting he could find himself behind bars or face a deadly encounter with someone from his past.
They conjectured: “I am thinking Tom’s final demise could be Tom will either attack Amelia or he will attack Belle in front of Amelia and Amelia will kill him either accidentally (like she pushed him away and he will fall on a knife that he’s got in his hands) or deliberately in defence of herself or to defend Belle.
“Or he will abuse Amelia, go to court, be found guilty of domestic abuse against Belle or Amelia and go to prison, but he will be killed in prison either by one of the Dingles who will be in the same prison as him or Amelia’s dad Dan Spencer (Liam Fox).”
Fans think Dan will kill Tom in prison
If this chilling theory turns out to be accurate and Tom unleashes his wrath on Belle or Amelia, the village could witness a grim double departure.
Yet, contravening fan speculation, soap teasers indicate that Tom is set to carry on with his cunning plot to twist Belle’s perception in future episodes.
The forthcoming drama intensifies when Belle is left reeling after Mandy accidentally reveals that Cain (Jeff Hordley) tipped off Zak (Steve Halliwell) regarding Toms violent tendencies, leaving Belle anguished that they’ve been speaking about her ordeal behind her back.
Terror grips Belle when an unsigned bouquet expressing condolences lands at her doorstep, prompting fears that Tom is toying with her.
Lydia (Karen Blick), teamed with Sam (James Hooton), observes with great concern as Belle defies her bail terms in a fraught clash with Tom.
To Belle’s shock, DS Foy soon apprehends her for flouting the conditions of her bail. During the questioning at the station, Belle is unsettled by the stark caution that another infringement involving Tom could mean imprisonment.
The next day, Lydia expresses concern that Belle might not be coping effectively. It quickly becomes clear that Belle’s mind is a whirlwind of voices, yet she longs to hear the calming voice of her father.
The extent of her mental anguish is revealed when Sam and Lydia find Belle at her most vulnerable, causing them great distress.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
