Underage Avani left injured in EastEnders after refusing to have sex with older boyfriend
Avani Nandra-Hart’s (Aaliyah James) ordeal with older boyfriend Mason (Alex Draper) worsens in EastEnders next week, when she refuses to sleep with him.
So far we’ve seen Avani grow closer to 18 year old Mason, despite her new best pal Barney Mitchell’s (Lewis Bridgeman) reservations.
This week, Mason proposes the idea of them taking their kiss to the next level, leaving Avani spooked.
She approaches Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) for advice – and their conversation is overheard by wicked Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall).
After he spills everything to Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), she charges over to No. 1 Albert Square to confront her daughter, who is spending the evening with Barney.

In upcoming scenes, Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) catches Avani texting her new fella, and she begs him to keep shtum.
Will he betray his sister’s wishes?
Later, their dad Ravi (Aaron Thiara) confiscates her phone, enlisting Priya to help him gain access to it. She warns him that there’s nothing to worry about, as Avani told her in confidence that she was actually dating Barney.
Ravi resolves to leave his daughter’s messages unread, and hands her the device back. Soon, she contacts Mason and they meet up on Edward Road.
She explains that she’s not ready to sleep with him, and soon a row breaks out. He tells her to leave, and she ends up with a busted lip as a result.
Has Mason attacked her?
Avani rushes back into the Square and is spotted by her dad. She quickly makes a cover story, but he’s convinced that Barney is to blame for her injuries and decides its time to teach him a lesson.
It’s not long before he comes to blows with Barney’s dad Teddy (Roland Manookian), and Avani is pleading for him to stop. With the two men squaring up to each other, the police arrive on the scene.
As the week goes on, the Panesar clan plot their revenge against the Mitchells, but Suki (Balvinder Sopal) intervenes and tells Ravi that she doesn’t want to see him behind bars.
Surprisingly, devious Nish (Navan Chowdhry) offers to reach out instead.
Could Nish’s intervention add more fuel to the fire?
