Sharon Watts’ new love interest confirmed after murder horror in EastEnders
Is a new Sharongate is on the horizon?
EASTENDERS confirms a new love interest for Sharon Watts following her former fiancé Keanu Taylor’s murder ordeal.
Sharon Watts, played by Letitia Dean, has been involved in numerous romantic entanglements, with many Walford men falling for her charms.
She was recently left heartbroken following the death of her fiance Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), who was killed by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) after he tried to strangle Sharon upon discovering that her son, Albie, wasn’t his.
Her other exes on the square include Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Denis Rickman (Nigel Harman).
But, it was Sharon’s passionate affair in 1994 that had EastEnders viewers captivated.
Sharon was married to Grant (Ross Kemp) and nearly 30 million fans tuned in to witness the iconic Queen Vic moment when Sharon’s secret romance with her brother-in-law, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) was exposed.
Now, Sharon might be heading for another love triangle with the Mitchell family 30 years later.
Back in July, a new Mitchell family made their debut as Billy’s (Perry Fenwick) brother Teddy (Roland Manookian) and his two children, Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman), moved onto the square.
Next week on the BBC soap, Teddy seems to have taken a shine to Sharon as he asks her on a date.
She initially rejects his offer, until Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) implores Sharon to give Teddy a chance.
Harry puts his foot in it during a conversation between Sharon and Teddy.
He decides to make it up to his dad by setting up a date between the pair at The Arches.
Teddy rails at Harry for being deceptive.
But, Sharon had already cottoned on to the plans and decides to attend anyway, much to Teddy’s surprise.
Sharon asks Teddy for a drink.
But, he bails to look after Barney who is upset following an altercation with Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) at McClunky’s.
Will Sharon give up of Teddy so easily?
Can she make this relationship work after the trauma from Keanu murder?
Or will Phil have something to say about it?
