Dying Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) continues to plot and scheme in EastEnders next week, as he tries to come between ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and her fiancé Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).

Nish is still on the warpath after Suki left him to die during a showdown about his failed attempt to kill son Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) last month.

As a new week begins in Walford, loved-up Suki and Eve are busy planning their engagement party and a jealous Nish begins concocting a plan.

He asks Vinny to speak to late brother Jags’ (Amar Adatia) ex-girlfriend Habiba Ahmed (Rukku Nahar) to arrange for their son Tye to visit the Square.

At the party, Suki is touched when she learns that Nish arranged Tye’s visit and reluctantly asks him to join the celebrations at the request of Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James).

He is warmed to have all of the family together, but the moment is short-lived when he overhears Eve and Suki talking about his demise, leading Nish to make a phone call…

Later in the week, Eve makes last-minute plans for her and Suki to head to Yorkshire, where she is originally from.

Nish manipulates the situation, and Suki decides to stay home to see Tye, much to Eve’s dismay.

Eve eventually softens after talking to Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and calls to apologise to Suki, but it’s clear that Nish is not happy at her intrusion in their family time…

Is Eve vengeful Nish’s next target?

EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 14 October at 7.30pm on BBC One and from 6am on iPlayer.
