Danny Dyer lashes out at Keir Starmer as he makes big demand of Prime Minister

EastEnders star, Danny Dyer, has criticised the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, claiming he was only elected because 'the Tories are such f*****g a**holes'

Danny Dyer has slammed Sir Keir Starmer in a bitter rant about British politics.

The EastEnders star, 47, didn’t hold back when airing his views of the Prime Minister, 62, who Danny claims was only elected because “the Tories are such f*****g a**holes”.

Condemning Sir Keir and his Cabinet for their plan to cut winter fuel payments for millions of pensioners, the actor said: “The Tories are such f***ing a***holes that Keir Starmer got in not for what Labour were saying but because the Tories f***ed it up so much.”

He continued: “And I don’t like this man. I don’t trust this man. He got the job handed to him on a plate. So what are you going to do to show us you’re different? And he’s gone straight in on pensioners? I find that f***ing fascinating.”

Despite slamming the Government, the Scared of the Dark star did reserve praise for Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Rayner, who he thinks should replace Starmer. Speaking to The Big Issue, Danny mused: “This is meant to be a working-class party. We need more working-class people in politics. Why Angela Rayner’s not leading things I don’t know. When she speaks, I listen.” He added that the country “needs to be inspired”, but insisted Britain had not had a proper leader in a “very long time”.

Switching his attention back to the Tories, the dad-of-three quipped that our last “supposed leader” was David Cameron, but that when the “s**t hit the fan he left” and since then we have had nobody.

Back in 2018, the actor appeared on Good Evening Britain to after he stepped down as Prime Minister following 2016’s Brexit vote. Appearing alongside Jeremy Corbyn, Pamela Anderson, Ed Balls and Tory MP James Cleverly, Danny slammed the former PM for calling the bombshell referendum before “scuttling off” on holiday.

He fumed: “Let’s go back to this whole Brexit thing, when you’re judging them because they don’t know what Brexit is.Who knows about Brexit? No one has got a f***ing clue. You watch Question Time, it’s comedy. No one knows what it is. It’s like this mad riddle that no one knows what it is.

“So what’s happened to that t**t David Cameron who brought it on? Let’s be fair. How comes he can scuttle off? He called all this on. Where is he? He’s in Europe. He’s in Nice with his trotters up. Where is the geezer? I think he should be held accountable for it.”
