It’s a busy week in Emmerdale for Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) – and it kicks off with a relationship split, as her short-lived passion with Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) is cut short.
But is this really the end of the line for the couple, as there is evidently still a spark there?
Elsewhere, relations with Arthur (Alfie Clarke) remain strained – not helped by an intervention from Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler).
Tom King (James Chase) is up to more vile tricks, this time he is targeting a child as he is determined to get the tablet back from Isaac.
And Kim Tate (Claire King) is determined to get under Will Taylor’s (Dean Andrews) skin, which ends in a violent altercation as his jealousy explodes.
Moira frets about her upcoming appointment to Vanessa.
Manpreet spots tension when Charles and Jai square up to each other. Charles is embarrassed as Manpreet berates him and walks away.
Later, Charles tells Laurel about his run-in with Jai. Laurel wants to chat about it, but Charles stands his ground and calls their relationship off.
Tom keeps an eye on Isaac, who has his tablet, and catching him alone, asks for it back. Isaac tells him it’s at home and volunteers where the spare key is hidden so he can get it himself.
Tom sneaks into Butlers Farm to find the tablet, but is forced to hide when Matty walks in. Meanwhile, Belle sees Moira and asks if anything has jogged her memory of the voicemail she left her, but Moira doesn’t recall anything.
Belle is startled to see Tom who brags about his assured victory in court, leaving Belle full of dread. Once Tom thinks he is home alone he begins to smash his tablet up with a hammer unaware Carl is watching on unseen.
Laurel and Arthur’s relationship is in turmoil whilst Nicola coaxes a confession from Arthur.
