Tom’s next victim revealed in Emmerdale as he turns nasty on her – but Belle ‘takes him down’
Tom King (James Chase) has targeted his next victim in Emmerdale, though unfortunately she still can’t see his true colours.
As viewers of the ITV soap know, Tom vanished into thin air shortly after his wife Belle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) family learnt about the months of physical and psychological abuse that he had subjected her to.
Shortly prior, he’d begun a relationship with village youngster Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) in a bid to make Belle jealous. Unfortunately, she was unable to see through his façade and still continues to believe he is the one who has been wronged.
Earlier this week, Belle discovered that her home – Dale Head – had been trashed, and discovered the mechanics of a hidden camera on the floor.
She knew then that Tom must still be in the vicinity and watching her from afar.
In tonight’s episode, she made the brave decision to go to the police about her turmoil, and told Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) that she was no longer scared of the consequences.
As the three chatted about her ailing dad Zak, Amelia overheard the conversation and wrongly assumed that they were talking about Tom.
She quickly packed her bags from the pub’s living quarters and charged over to Victoria Cottage, telling Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) that she was moving in with them.
Neither of the women believe Tom’s lies, and continue to be deeply concerned for Amelia’s wellbeing.
