Emmerdale Moira Dingle health twist leaves Cain in turmoil as sad diagnosis ‘rumbled’

Emmerdale's latest episode saw Moira Dingle lash out at one character before forgetting an important doctors appointment on the ITV soap, leaving her husband Cain Dingle concerned

Viewers tuning into Wednesday’s Emmerdale saw Moira Dingle spark concern, amid a theory about her mystery health issue.

The character is yet to be diagnosed with anything, but a recent seizure, odd behaviour and memory issues have left viewers convinced they know what is wrong with her. Amid initial speculation her out of character behaviour could be linked to the menopause, fans now fear she may have a brain tumour or might be suffering from early onset dementia.

The character has been forgetting things for weeks, and acting strangely leaving her husband Cain Dingle worried about her. In the latest episode she was meant to have a blood test at the doctors to determine what was going on.

With her clearly worried for her health, she was hoping for answers amid her mood swings and heavy drinking. But Moira forgot about the appointment, and couldn’t even remember booking it when quizzed by Cain.

She did not have the blood test and ended up having a row with her husband, moments after lashing out at sister-in-law Ruby Miligan. Ruby was horrified when Moira accused her of having an affair with Cain, or at least trying to embark on one.

Ruby was left injured when Moira attacked her, headbutting her and sending her flying. Moira had to be restrained by Cain before he took her home, with Ruby and husband Caleb Miligan mortified by her actions.

Cain had it out with Moira wanting answers, stating this could not only be down to the menopause. We saw Moira appear very concerned and confused at the mention of the blood test, not recalling anything about it.

So what is wrong with Moira, and will she and her family get the answers they need? Next week her confusion leads to a devastating fire on the farm, that leaves her, Ruby and others in grave danger.

It’s not known if everyone will survive, with it feared a shocking death will hit the village. This surely has to be the moment where Moira’s potential illness is explored, with a diagnosis possibly on the cards.
