Emmerdale fans were sharing the love during yesterday’s episode as Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) son Isaac Dingle (Bobby Dunsmuir) returned to our screens.

Little Bobby has played Isaac since 2017. The young character was born unexpectedly in October of the same year due to Moira having no idea she was pregnant at the time.

Yesterday, Isaac made a return to the soap. He was seen in the kitchen having breakfast with Cain, growing curious as to where his mum had gone.

The day before, Moira’s ongoing health worries saw her experience a seizure in a barn. In the night, she woke up and pulled a piece of material over her for warmth, staying in the barn the entire evening.

Despite the fact he was last seen July, a mere few weeks ago, Isaac is clearly a much-loved member of the Emmerdale family as fans of the ITV soap took to social media to express how glad they were to see him again.

‘Isaac is a cracking little actor’, one user of X said, while another wrote: ‘Isaac absolutely stealing the show in tonight’s episode. best soap child confirmed’.

As the episode progressed, Cain took himself off to the Woolpack to express his concerns regarding Moira during a chat with Chas (Lucy Pargeter). While this was going on, Isaac was seen looking after his mum, who was asleep on the sofa.

The young lad told Moira that he wouldn’t tell Cain that she ‘went all wobbly again’ because he had been grumpy all day.

Previously, Bobby broke all of our hearts during his storyline that saw Isaac deal with the loss of Minty the Lamb.

Minty was a little orphaned lamb that Cain had allowed Isaac to keep, Sadly, at the start of July, Isaac discovered he had died.

He’d gone out to play with his little friend, only to find that he’d skipped off to the big farm in the sky.

And no, we’re not over it.
