Emmerdale Shock: Major Star’s Shocking Exit Confirmed as Departure Looms – What Will Happen Next?
Rumour has it that Jurell Carter is soon to exit Emmerdale, and the circumstances around his departure are pretty murky.
Nate entered the village in 2019, hellbent on revenge on his dad Cain (Jeff Hordley) for abandoning him as a kid. To do this, he set about successfully seducing Moira (Natalie J Robb) to crush his dad’s soul.
Now it looks like Nate’s story is set to come full circle.
It’s fair to say, things are not hunky dory with Cain and wife Moira, not since his stepson Matty (Ash Palmisciano) was jailed over Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) lies, and from Moira’s perspective, Cain failed to do what he should have done about it.
Moira branded him weak and a disgrace, which aren’t the words of a warm and loving wife.
Matty (Ash Palmisciano) is now home, and things have got no better between Moira and her other half, especially after he helped prepare Samson for time inside.
Moira’s behaviour has been becoming more and more erratic and unhinged, as Cain hasn’t been able to do right for doing wrong.
So, he is completely unimpressed when he finds a bottle of whisky in her bag and sees her knocking back pain killers. It looks like her addictive past could be coming back.
Furious at the implied accusation, Moira makes a point of showing the bottle is unopened.
Later, Moira tells newcomer John (Oliver Farnworth) what we’re all thinking – her marriage is in trouble. She then turns to Nate for support and the pair share a drink.
This cosy offloading triggers a nasty response from Cain when he discovers them enjoying each other’s company, and he confronts Nate about his relationship with Moira.
Nate is hurt that his dad could say such a damming thing and tries to assert that him and Moira are just in a good place. Cain is having none of it and leaves Nate with the unresolved issue. But could Cain be on the right track in that there’s more than this than meets the eye?
If we know anything about Emmerdale, there is no smoke without fire, and it seems like Nate’s departure could have a lot to do with him betraying his dad once more.
