ITV Emmerdale ‘confirms’ Tom King’s downfall in Dingle double exit twist
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Tom King's exit from the ITV soap has been 'confirmed', as they predict how the sinister abuser will finally be caught out in the soap
Emmerdale enthusiasts have been dissecting each tidbit of gossip from the ITV soap about nefarious Tom King and they’ve pieced together a link to the notorious Dingles.
Eagle-eyed devotees are convinced Emmerdale has “confirmed” how baddie Tom King will meet his downfall involving two characters permanently leaving the show.
Actor James Chase, who joined Emmerdale just over 12 months back, is rumoured to make a sharp exit later in 2024 in traditional bombastic style. And supporters reckon the soap itself has lent weight to these whispers; villains rarely get a shot at redemption usually meeting their fate via either a prison cell or the grave.
This sets a ticking clock on characters like vile Tom, who has spent recent months tormenting and assaulting his spouse Belle Dingle. Per The Sun, show informants have thrown weight behind this speculation, with one saying: “It’s the right time to leave.”
“James has relished his stint on the programme portraying such an impactful narrative but let’s face it, blokes like Tom are not designed to linger around. There’s no grand turnaround in store for Tom he’s set to bow out one way or another, and you can bet it’ll be explosive.”
Previous tormentors on Emmerdale didn’t manage to salvage their image and rightly so with the likes of rapist Pierce Harris meeting his end behind bars. Over on Coronation Street, domestic tyrant Geoff Metcalfe was taken down in true dramatic fashion and history suggests Tom’s departure from Emmerdale will be equally conclusive.
Emmerdale fans have speculated another potential exit from the soap, linking it to Tom’s downfall, following reports that Nate Robinson actor Jurell Carter has left the show. An insider told The Sun: “Jurell has loved being on the soap but he’s a young actor and it’s understandable he wants to spread his wings.”
Fans took to Facebook to share their theories, with one writing: “It was said a while back that Nate was leaving Emmerdale and it was just recently said that Tom is also leaving. Now if the dots were to be joined up I am just wondering is it Nate that kills Tom and that is how Nate leaves the show?”
“Even though Nate has not been part of the abuse storyline like Charity and Cain have been, just a thought on my part,” they added.
Another fan agreed, saying: “It’s likely. If you remember he was pretty close to Belle once upon a time, especially when he was disowned by Cain. The writers might suddenly start writing stories for him and Belle again and he might be the one who actually saw what others only saw halfway.”
A third person commented: “Nate and Belle used to be close and chat about problems so I know he cares for her, so maybe? ” However, another viewer disagreed, stating: “I don’t think so!”
