Emmerdale twist for ‘pregnant’ Ella Forster and Liam Cavanagh’s fury unveiled

Emmerdale's Ella Forster is set to be at the centre of a huge twist next week, as the sonographer is unable to find her baby, while Rose Jackson tries to seduce Will Taylor

Emmerdale is set to unveil a major plot twist next week when Ella Forster, portrayed by Paula Lane, discovers she isn’t pregnant. Ella recently returned to the village with a bombshell for Liam Cavanagh, played by Jonny McPherson she’s carrying his child.

Their relationship hit a snag when Liam discovered Ella’s dark secret – she had killed another child when she was just 11 years old, leading him to end their relationship. After fleeing the village, Ella returned with the news of her pregnancy. However, Liam’s immediate response was to label her a liar.

Since then, Ella has sought moral support from Mandy Dingle, played by Lisa Riley, while an irate Liam refused to accept that the baby could be his. But as Ella’s first scan approaches next week, she invites Mandy to accompany her.

She also prepares to fulfil Liam’s request for a paternity test. However, while at work, Ella suddenly begins to experience severe cramps, reports the Express.

Liam examines her and expresses interest in attending the scan, but Ella is less enthusiastic until transportation issues force her to rely on him, and they go together.

During the scan, the sonographer encounters an unexpected issue that leaves them both stunned – there’s no baby to be found. Liam is livid, having been vindicated in his suspicions. He berates Ella, accusing her of fabricating her pregnancy to rekindle their relationship.

In the village, a heartbroken Liam finds comfort in Paddy (Dominic Brunt) as he grapples with Ella’s deceit about the baby. But is everything as it appears, or is there more to the story?

Elsewhere in the village, Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) makes her move on ex-husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), behind Kim Tate’s back.

Her scheme to split up Will and Kim (Claire King) seems to be working, but Rose is eager to seal the deal. Seizing an opportunity when Will feels neglected by Kim’s preoccupation with Caleb Milligan (William Ash), Rose makes her move.

Will gives in to temptation but wakes up the next day filled with remorse. Rose believes she has the upper hand until a call from Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) wipes the smile off her face.

Kim uncovers the truth of the situation, and while she suspects Rose is plotting something, she realises someone else is pulling the strings. The truth hits home when she visits Ruby.

Ruby taunts her, saying she’s just waiting for her marriage and life to crumble, but how will Kim respond to this treachery? Kim then returns to Home Farm in triumph, making it clear that she’s now in the know.

The following day, PC Swirling arrives at Home Farm to conduct a welfare check on Rose after discovering her abandoned handbag. Kim and Will are doing their utmost to appear innocent but just how much do they know about where Rose is?
