John Sugden Saves Ruby from Fire
John Sugden, played by Oliver Farnworth, has arrived to shake things up in the village. He will dive deep into the Sugden family’s history. Discussing his arrival, Oliver expressed his delight at joining the cast. He highlighted the show’s rich history and the integral role of the Sugden family.
Meanwhile, producer Laura Shaw also expressed enthusiasm for Oliver’s addition. She emphasised that the Sugdens have always been central to the soap and that introducing a new member opens up exciting possibilities for future storylines. The maker promised, “Mysterious John’s arrival will no doubt create a stir in the village for Victoria and the wider community.”
This week, we will see John carrying Ruby Fox-Miligan out of a burning barn. As filming continued, two vehicles arrived with Cain Dingle, Chas, Caleb Milligan, and Will Taylor. In the scene, the new arrival emerges from the flames. Also, Cain is heard shouting for his wife, Moira, and runs into the barn.
Additionally, new boss Sophie Roper recently teased the upcoming stunt. She mentioned that several stunts were scheduled for filming that week and hinted at the involvement of fire engines. She suggested an ‘explosive’ week ahead. But why is John putting his life at risk for Ruby? Are they related?
One thing is sure: Multiple lives are going to be at stake. We’ll have to see who survives the fire and who meets their ultimate fate! Moreover, Nate Robinson’s exit, played by Jurell Carter, is also around the corner. And guess what? He is in the barn, too! Hence, he stands a good risk of dying in the disaster.
