EMMERDALE has appeared to reveal Samson Dingle’s exit storyline after actor playing him was axed.
The troubled teenager – who is played by actor Sam Hall in the ITV soap – will soon be leaving the village and now it seems to have been revealed how.
Viewers watched last week as Samson was accidentally stabbed while he was attempting to rob The Hide with his new pal Josh.
Josh shoved him into Matty who was clearing up plates after spending hours terrorising Matty for being trans.
And when Samson collapsed with a stab wound, Josh wasted no time in calling the police and framing Matty.
Matty was arrested and warned not to go near Samson as part of his bail conditions.
But tonight he couldn’t help himself with Cain failing to convince Samson to do the right thing.
Matty went to the cottage and begged Samson to tell the truth, telling him he wouldn’t survive prison.
But Matty and Cain’s words had little effect and once he was alone, Samson picked up the phone and called the detective in charge of the case.
And in a sickening twist – he doubled down on his lies.
Later the police arrived at Matty’s cottage and arrested him.
“We’re going to need you to come down to the station,” the officer said.
“Samson did call us to let us know you’d been round there to put pressure on him. You were warned. Matty Barton, I’m arresting you for breaching your bail.
“You do not have to say anything but it may harm your defence if you do not mention something when questioned that you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.”
Matty was terrified as he was led away while meanwhile lying Samson was planning his getaway to Europe with his believing parents.
That suggests that Samson will either do a runner to Europe, or will be caught and furiously chased out of town when he leaves.
The Sun exclusively revealed how actor Sam Hall had been axed from the soap earlier this year.
