Emmerdale hit with shock news after death that leads to an outburst of rage in spoiler video
Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) is left furious in a new Emmerdale spoiler video after learning some shocking news.
The vicar is clearly agitated as he takes a phone call, and it soon becomes clear why he’s feeling that way.
As Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) arrives, Charles explains that the police have decided to drop son Ethan’s hit and run case, meaning that the culprit may never face justice.
Charles explained that because the hit and run hadn’t killed Ethan, the police saw no reason to continue the investigation.
Viewers will remember that Ethan was run over by a mystery assailant, who was later revealed to by Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly), avenging son Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) after Ethan left him for dead.
She was left totally devastated when news of Ethan’s death began to circulate, horrified that she was responsible, and was prepared to hand herself into the police.
However, husband Caleb Miligan (Will Ash) stopped her in her tracks by revealing that Ethan hadn’t been killed by the hit and run, but had suffered an aneurysm.
In the new video, Caleb overhears Charles’ rant, and later offers him a place to stay when Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) points out that drunken Charles probably doesn’t want to return to a home that reminds him of his son.
Charles is grateful for the hospitality, but things take a turn when he finds and pockets an intriguing invoice while cleaning spilt coffee from the rug.
Later, Charles offers Caleb a lift into Hotten, which he reluctantly accepts, though he grows concerned when Charles tears up during a heart to heart, before pulling the car over and heading into the woods.
As Charles reminisces about Ethan, he questions the police’s decision to drop the hit and run case, but Caleb is left confused when the vicar’s expression hardens as he tries to comfort him.
Caleb attempts to return to the car, but raging Charles stops him, and pulls out the invoice suggesting Caleb’s involvement in the hit and run.
Faced with Charles’ rage and determination to get to the truth, what will Caleb say?
