Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ brutal death for Tom King – and who will kill him
Emmerdale fans are convinced ITV villain Tom King will meet a grisly end when his horrific abuse on his wife Belle Dingle is exposed - and viewers think they know who will kill him
Emmerdale fans believe they have worked out who will put an end to Tom King’s (James Chase) reign of terror to a bloody end as his abusive control on his wife spirals out of control.
Over the past few months, the ITV show has been tackling the sensitive topic of domestic violence through Belle Dingle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) marriage to Carl King’s son. The junior vet has tried to exert control over his wife by gaslighting her and keeping an eye on her every day.
More recently, Tom took his abuse to a whole new level when he punched her in the stomach after spying on her whilst at work. But this isn’t the first time he has hit Belle after he slapped her when she rejected his proposal last year.
After watching the dramatic scenes unfold, viewers flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their suspicions that more sinister times are ahead. Many viewers believe his wife Belle will be the one to deliver the killing blow.
A third echoed: “I wonder if Belle will just turn around and kill him, I’ll be thrilled. I will be so f**king proud. Please just let it happen. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. #Emmerdale.” It comes after Tom ramped up his manipulative behaviour towards Belle, and this week he involved GP Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).
Even though Tom is the one with the anger issues, he turned the tables and told the village doctor that it is Belle who needs mental health support. Loyal fans of the ITV soap will remember that Belle suffered from schizophrenia following Gemma’s death.
Despite her passing, Belle kept hearing her late friends voice who told her to do unspeakable things. Fans will remember how she lashed out and locked herself in a car with medical professionals soon getting involved after she attacked Katie Sugden.
When Katie later died from a separate incident, Belle blamed herself and tried to take her own life which led to her hospitalisation. Despite recovering from her mental breakdown, the blonde bombshell is still taking medication to stop it from happening again.
But this week her evil husband has used her mental health disorder against her when confiding in Liam that she is spiralling out of control again. Taking to X, some fans believe it will be the village doctor who takes Tom down.
One user penned: “Does Tom know that Liam and Cain are BFFs? I’m sure Liam will ask about Belle’s health… #Emmerdale.” Another agreed: “Tom is a lying, vile piece of s**t! I hope Liam lets something slip to Belle about what Tom has told him about her.”
Viewers will have to stay tuned to see if Tom will face the cold hand of justice for his abuse on Belle.
