Emmerdale confirms Cain Dingle exit story as much-loved favourite is left to die in 13 pictures
Emmerdale lines up a week of intrigue and mystery, with a number of residents’ behaviour sparking concern, as confirmed in my brand new picture gallery.
The ITV soap has been top notch viewing as of late, marking its 10,000th episode with nods to the past, not to mention a particularly frightful hit-and-run involving Ethan Anderson (Emile John).
In the wake of the incident, Ethan appears to be okay and, next week, he overhears a very intriguing conversation between Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) and Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco).
Just what are they talking about, I hear you ask? Well that is the question and, whatever the topic of conversation, it’s enough to spook Ethan, who resolves to do the right thing in relaying his concerns about Rose to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
Before he can do so, however, things take quite a turn.
With just a few hours of his freedom left, Ethan receives some words of support from Charles (Kevin Mathurin) as they share a heart-to-heart.
Afterwards, Ethan collapses on the flood at Woodbine!
Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Parker) swoops into action, desperately trying to resuscitate Ethan as a devastated Charles fears the worst.
Will Ethan pull through? Or have the after-effects of the hit-and-run claimed his life?
Elsewhere in the village, Ella Forster (Paula Lane) is the topic of much discussion – and her lack of online presence piques Leyla Cavanagh’s (Roxy Sahidi) interest as she resolves to get some answers.
Is Ella’s time up? Just what is she hiding? And will Leyla find out the truth?
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), meanwhile, resolves to leave the village to help son Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn).
And unmissable week awaits in the Dales!
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, May 27 and Friday, May 31 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
