Tom commits his worst act yet amid shocking car crash twist in Emmerdale
Violent situations are sending shockwaves through Emmerdale village, whether terrifying public incidents or sinister attacks behind closed doors.
Next week’s spoilers reveal that vile Tom King (James Chase) is set to carry out another brutal act against frightened wife Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
After feeling he has been mocked, he snaps and, following another move to exert control, he unleashes his horrendous temper.
Elsewhere, Nick Fox-Miligan (Lewis Cope) is in a bad way following the car crash, with Ruby (Beth Cordingly) swearing revenge.
Guilty Ethan Anderson (Emile John) eventually admits his part in what happened – and he is carted away by police.
But perhaps it’s Ruby he should be more worried about…
Monday May 13
At the hospital, Ruby struggles with stress, while Caleb and Ruby keep vigil by Nicky’s bedside as he continues to fight for his life. Ethan feels guilty as his family praises him ahead of his new job.
Charles notices Ethan’s discomfort and worries. Ruby confides in Moira about Nicky’s condition, and they bond despite family tension. Ruby seeks revenge for Nicky’s accident and wants to know who was driving Nicky’s car.
At the hospital, Caleb reconciles with Cain and Caleb vows to find the driver. Meanwhile, Charles can see that Ethan’s struggling with something and guides him into the church for a frank conversation.
Charles is blindsided when Ethan admits that he was driving the car when Nicky had his accident.
He’s stunned when Ethan reveals that he intends to lie to the police and asks him to give an alibi for his whereabouts the night of the accident.
Later, Ethan’s arrested for Nicky’s accident, devastated to realise that his own father reported him to the police. Having seen Ethan’s arrest from Main Street, raging Ruby realises that he must have been driving Nicky’s car.
Charles begins to regret his decision as he watches his family’s devastation to see Ethan taken away by the police.
Ella and Liam are smitten as they settle down to wine and a picnic.
Amy reluctantly agrees to give Pollard one last chance.

Ella feels overwhelmed by the speed at which her relationship is progressing.
Vinny opens up to Paddy about feeling lonely.
The arrest sends ripples through the village as Charles struggles with his conscience over Ethan’s fate.
Wednesday May 15
Tom continues to isolate Belle from her family and he opens a joint account for him and Belle as he seizes control of another aspect of her life.
Mandy asks Gabby to spend some time with Vinny in order to cheer him up.
Nicola stresses about the lack of progress in organising the village fete.
Thursday May 16
Tom’s furious to find Belle chatting to Lydia and Mandy on the puppy cam and begins to listen into their conversation.
The three playfully tease Tom behind his back, unaware that he’s furiously listening to every word.
When Tom arrives home unexpectedly, Belle’s relieved to find that he’s pleasant to Mandy and Lydia but worries whether he’s being genuine.
Sure enough, Tom’s mood turns menacing when they leave and Belle finds herself in a terrifying situation when Tom turns on her once again…
