ITV Emmerdale ‘confirms’ who will help Belle Dingle leave Tom King after dropping huge clue
Belle Dingle's husband Tom King turned physically abusive in tragic scenes tonight when he forced her hand under a boiling hot tap on Emmerdale this evening
Emmerdale fans have rumbled who will help Belle Dingle leave Tom King after he turned violent tonight.
In harrowing scenes, when the dinner party ended, Belle and Tom were left alone and he confronted her about her taking contraception. After shouting at her for lying to him, he pushed her hand under a boiling hot tap in his first physical turn of violence.
Tragically, Belle is being coercively controlled by her husband, with things only set to get worse. However, fans are convinced one resident could help Belle out of her marriage after spotting a ‘clue’ dropped by the writers on the ITV show.
Tonight, as Tom and Belle headed upstairs, Mandy was quick to follow them, with fans convinced it’s because she knows and will help to get Belle away from abusive and vile Tom. One wrote: “I’m sure Mandy suspects something – she didn’t waste time coming up the stairs after Belle and Tom #Emmerdale,” whilst a second added: “I hope Mandy following them upstairs means she’s cottoned on!”

“Will Mandy figure it out #Emmerdale,” a third shared, with a fourth adding: “I wish Belle would tell Mandy or someone else what’s going on & how uncomfortable she is. #Emmerdale.” A sixth penned: “Mandy is not thick. I am gonna need her to notice.”
Charity Dingle star Emma Atkins has warned that the Dingles will soon find out about Tom’s abuse.
Speaking about the storyline, she told Digital Spy: “I don’t think there’s anyone at home who’s watching that story and not screaming out at the TV because it’s so well done. It’s been so well scripted and played excellently by those two – Eden and James.
“I think at some point the Dingles will no doubt find out and then there’ll be extreme anger and upset – and support for Belle, because the Dingles always come together to rally round to support whoever’s in need.”
Warning fans some big scenes could be on the way, she added: “I think it’s going to be explosive eventually. And for now it’s watching it trickling out – it’s watching it play out. It’s brilliantly done but it’s painful to watch.”
