ITV Emmerdale ‘reveals’ who will expose vile Tom King’s abuse after Belle Dingle scene

Emmerdale may have teased who will help Belle Dingle, amid her abuse at the hands of husband Tom King.

A scene with Belle on Monday saw her hint at her worries regarding husband Tom, with another character. She was told anything she said would be confidential, and Belle was evidently worried about what she might say.

Belle booked a doctor appointment with Manpreet Sharma at the surgery, with her keen to put in a repeat prescription for her contraceptive pill. But when she told Manpreet she wanted to change where the medication was sent to, she sparked questions.

She had asked for it to be sent to a chemist where she could collect it in town, and for it not to be sent to her house. Manpreet told her she did not have to explain why, but if she did want to talk about it she was there for her.

Manpreet then reminded her that anything said at the appointment would not leave the surgery and was confidential. While Belle didn’t go into detail, she explained she wanted her medications to be sent to her house, except for the pill which she wanted to collect

Manpreet appeared to realise that Belle was hiding this from Tom, not wanting him to see it. Viewers know that Tom wants Belle to stop taking it, with him trying to force her into starting a family with him even though she is not ready.

Belle has hidden her pills and is secretly taking them, not ready to fall pregnant. She now wants to collect it in secret so Tom remains unaware she is taking it, with her fearing how he might react given his controlling and abusive behaviour towards her, which will soon turn violent.

Manpreet picked up on the fact Belle was worried about something, and was keen for her contraceptive pill prescription to be sent away from her home for her to pick up. Manpreet urged Belle to talk to her if needed, and confirmed she could have her prescription sent elsewhere, to the relief of Belle.

So might Manpreet become aware of Belle being pressured by Tom, and perhaps his controlling behaviour? Might Belle take Manpreet up on her offer of a confidential chat about what is bothering her, and let slip about Tom’s manipulative and scary actions?

It certainly could be teasing that Belle will later confide in Manpreet as she continues to hide the fact she is taking the pill from Tom. Maybe Manpreet will keep a closer eye on Belle amid her obvious concerns, leading to Tom’s behaviour coming to light.
