Emmerdale spoilers: Dawn’s world turned upside down by massive blast from the past who she ‘despises’
Yesterday (April 26) in Emmerdale, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) came face to face with a lady called Rose (Christine Tremarco).
It was quickly established that Rose is Will’s ex-wife and after one comment about a ‘daughter’, we learnt that Rose is also Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) mother.
Will made it clear to Rose yesterday that she wasn’t welcome anywhere near his new family at Home Farm. He told her that after she left the family, Dawn got put into care and he went into prison. Will was hoping that Rose would regret her past choices after these comments – but she didn’t.
In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Dawn and Billy’s (Jay Kontzle) quiet day at home took a concerning turn when Evan ended up at the hospital.
In the nursery, Billy had placed Evan on the changing table but then received a phone call.
With his back to Evan, Billy failed to spot the baby rolling over.
When he heard a loud thump, Billy turned round and was horrified to realise Evan had fallen onto the floor.
At the hospital, Dawn and Billy were relieved when the doctor said the little lad was fine. After being told they should return if Evan’s behaviour changes, Dawn and Billy headed to the reception desk, unaware of just who was standing beside them.
When Kim (Claire King) and Will arrived, Will spotted Rose and eventually, he was forced to tell Dawn that she had just been having a conversation with her mother.
Dawn revealed to Rose that she had waited years for this moment to happen. She said she absolutely ‘despises’ her mother and was certain she doesn’t need her in her life.
With that, Dawn and Billy left.
Outside, as Rose got into a taxi, Will thought they wouldn’t see the troublesome face anymore.
Kim, however, didn’t agree.
She told her husband that Rose doesn’t look like someone they can ‘get rid of that easily’.
But is she right?
