ITV Emmerdale’s Tom King’s downfall ‘sealed’ as cruel twist sparks suspicion
Emmerdale villain Tom King risks exposing his vile behaviour next week, as his decision to target Vinny Dingle raises suspicions with another character on the ITV soap
Emmerdale’s Tom King may spark his own downfall in upcoming scenes, as his recent actions and new plan spark suspicion.
The villain has been targeting his wife Belle Dingle in a coercive control storyline for weeks, isolating her and manipulating her. But he eyes up a new target this week, before possibly putting his foot in it next week.
Tom hasn’t seen eye-to-eye with Vinny Dingle recently, with him secretly jealous of his friendship with Belle. Tom tried to sabotage their bond, but it hasn’t worked and this leads to him acting out violently this week.
Next week, Vinny is struggling following a brutal attack with him not aware Tom is the culprit. Belle does her best to be there for Vinny, and Tom no doubt realises he’s made things worse for himself.
But a moment between him and Vinny could be his downfall, as he offers to be there for him after the assault. Not only does Tom belittle Vinny and target him in a cruel twist after the attack, but he won’t leave him alone especially when he’s with Belle.

As Vinny recovers, Tom is annoyed with Belle for being there for Vinny and once again can’t contain his fury. Then he himself suddenly decides to support Vinny and hang out with him, way more than usual.
This concerns Belle who spots Tom’s change of character, and his sudden desire to support Vinny after recent drama. Will other people also spot this is odd, and suspect Tom might know what really happened?
Vinny himself will no doubt be wondering why Tom is acting the way he is, and we don’t know yet if he is likely to remember anything about the assault. But with Belle curious as to what Tom is up to, knowing there has to be more to it than concern, will she or someone else figure out Tom’s guilt, and will his other actions come to light?
It’s surely only a matter of time before someone figures out Tom is not the nice guy he’s claimed to be. With him already being so controlling and vile to Belle, will someone overhear one of his remarks or maybe see the panic in Belle’s eyes when he acts out next time?
