Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Ruby Milligan’s explosive affair with unlikely villager
Loyal Emmerdale viewers are convinced troublemaker Ruby Fox-Milligan will set eyes on a new man in the Dales, and he's thought to be just as explosive as she is
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Ruby Fox-Milligan (played by Beth Cordingly) is hiding a major secret as she continues to clash with her husband Caleb (Will Ash).
Over the past few weeks, ITV viewers have seen the pair lock horns ever since she walked back into their lives. The blonde bombshell made it clear that she wants to reconnect with her ex-husband after their separation years earlier.
However, she continues to cause havoc in the Dingle’s lives and frequently seeks reassurance from the silver fox. The star previously confessed the effect Caleb leaving her and being unfaithful has had on her.
Since she returned to the Dales, his ex-wife desperately yearns for his love and constantly wants him to prioritise him above all else. However, his eagerness to reconnect with his long-lost family has left her feeling neglected.
It’s fair to say their recent confrontations have become increasingly heated after Ruby unintentionally injured Caleb’s sister, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), just weeks after her double mastectomy. Now, fans have started to suspect that there’s more to Ruby’s story than meets the eye.
But Ruby isn’t the only villager who has been terrorising the Dingle family over the past few months. TV hunk Tom King (James Chase) has been controlling his new wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for more than six months which has crushed the blonde bombshell’s confidence.
Most recently, the newlywed has been driving a wedge between Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Belle who have grown close in recent weeks. The star has since concocted a plan to become Vinny’s best friend in a bid to set him up with another villager.
Now, viewers believe that Ruby would be better matched for Tom rather than Caleb due to their similar toxic traits. Taking to X – formerly known as Twitter – one user penned: “I think Ruby is a controller like Tom but at this point obviously Tom is a lot worse.”
Another argued: “Ruby is unhinged, she should shack up with Tom they’d make the perfect messed up couple!” A third echoed: “Imagine Tom and Ruby together – they will both have killed each other by the end of the first day #Emmerdale.”
A fourth chimed in with: “How long before the mad people writing this have Tom and Ruby have an affair and try to murder all the Dingles like some broken couple of weirdos.”
It comes after the world’s most popular ‘creative’ intelligent tool Gemini hinted that Vinny and Belle could start a steamy love affair. Sharing it’s take, the AI system suggested: “The future storyline of Emmerdale is not entirely certain, but there are conflicting hints about Belle and Vinny.
“Some spoilers suggest that Belle and Vinny might be growing closer. Emmerdale bosses have also hinted that Belle will find love soon.” AI also believes that Vinny and Belle not being blood relatives could sway their decision to get closer.
It continued: “It’s important to note that although Belle and Vinny are part of the Dingle family, they are not blood relatives so an affair wouldn’t be incestuous. Emmerdale bosses have confirmed that Belle will find love this summer, but it has been described as the ‘most perfect relationship ever seen’.”
