EMMERDALE has revealed the first look at Amy Wyatt and Matty Barton’s wedding – as Kerry’s scheming puts everything in danger.
The couple have been preparing for the nuptials in recent weeks, with Kerry offering to cover the costs when she returned to the village last month.
Kerry hasn’t revealed where she has got the money from, and viewers know she has been doing her best to ignore calls from a mystery person demanding money in recent episodes.
Coming up in Emmerdale next week, Amy and Matty can barely contain their excitement for their wedding.
Meanwhile, Kerry hopes a second opinion on her necklace will yield the money she needs to pay for their wedding.
She hides from Suzy, but when Suzy tracks her down she insists she has one last chance to pay up for the wedding or it’s off.
The following day Kerry prays her necklace’s value will be worth enough to salvage the wedding.
Over at Home Farm, Leyla and Suzy prepare the venue but there’s still so sign of payment from Kerry.
Oblivious Matty and Amy arrive for their wedding rehearsal and as it gets underway, Kim shows up demanding her full payment for the venue.
Back in the village, Kerry’s defeated after earning a pittance for her necklace and Pollard’s shocked she won’t be able to pay for the wedding.
Kerry braces herself knowing she needs to admit the truth.
The next day, the wedding party excitedly gets ready for the big day but they’re brought back down to earth when Kerry finally reveals she can’t actually afford to pay for it.
Matty’s blindsided by the news the wedding is off.
But after taking a mystery call, Leyla announces the wedding is back on.
The guests then stand as Amy sets off down the aisle towards her future husband.
Will it be plain sailing from there for the couple? And who stumped up the cash at the last minute?
