Emmerdale’s Tom King sets out to destroy Belle Dingle’s friendship with another character next week on the ITV soap.
Vinny Dingle finds himself in the firing line, amid Tom’s abuse towards wife Belle. As he continues to isolate her from others while also trying to control every aspect of her life, he decides to set up Vinny in cruel scenes.
Hoping to ruin their friendship for good amid his jealousy, Tom takes vile action to drive a wedge between them. It all kicks off when Vinny and Belle spend more time together, and bond over their dogs.
Tom is irritated to see them spending so much time with each other, with him desperate to keep her all to himself. When Belle gets called into work unexpectedly, Vinny offers to look after puppy Piper to which she agrees.
Tom takes action though, hoping to divide the friends. Belle’s left distraught later in the day when Vinny arrives in a panic and tells her that Piper has gone missing.
Tom’s quick to take on the role of the calm saviour, while it seems pretty clear he knows more than he’s letting on. While spoilers don’t necessarily say so, it seems that Tom has played a part in Piper’s disappearance as they reveal Tom is “manipulative” amid his anger at Vinny.

With Piper missing, the trio go looking for him and Belle and Vinny’s friendship is at breaking point. But has Tom got what he wanted, and managed to tear the pair apart for good?
What’s happened to Piper? Viewers will have to tune in next week to find out where the puppy is and if he’s found safe, and what exactly Tom has up his sleeve.
The soap confirmed a dark storyline for the pair recently, after Tom’s manipulative and controlling behaviour increased. From mocking her and her family to then trying to make her feel bad as she sobbed because she missed her late mother, Tom has been awful to his wife.
But things got terrifying when he began stalking her, installing a tracking app on her phone without her realising. He’s also been sabotaging her work, and trying to encourage her to become a stay at home wife, also pressuring her to have children with him.
