ITV Emmerdale Jai Sharma’s death ‘sealed’ in deadly Amit twist as killer finally exposed
Emmerdale could be saying goodbye to Jai in shocking scenes as fans rumble a huge twist with Amit after his lies were exposed in tonight's episode of the ITV soap
Emmerdale fans have been left worried that Jai could die in a deadly twist with dad Amit.
Amit has already killed someone, having shockingly murdered his brother Rishi Sharma, played by fan favourite Bhasker Patel, in a surprise turn of events. Tonight, viewers watched on as the storyline continued with Amit and the other residents of the Dales.
He had been trying to fleece Eric Pollard out of money for a ‘new business’, and to pay off his debts to a lady called Dee, but tonight Jai finally realised what his biological father had been hiding. He followed his dad to the meeting with Dee, where he realised that his father had given the takings from the Hide to Dee in a bid to stop her coming after the rest of the money he owed.
Is Jai in trouble?
Jai watched on as his father handed over the cash, and was there at the Hide when he returned to say he had been attacked by a group of three thugs, who had stolen the cash off him. They insisted he should contact the police, which he wasn’t keen about – but he was completely unaware that his son Jai knows the truth of where the money really went.
With Jai now knowing the truth about Amit, fans have been left fearful that this could spell the end for Jai’s character, given that Amit had no problem murdering his brother when he find out the truth – so what would stop him killing his son?
Speaking on This Morning today, Chris Bisson – who plays Jai – teased there would be a huge stunt in the coming episodes.
“I don’t want to spoil what happens but I think you’ll find Jai is just keeping his powder dry, keeping an eye on him. Of course it’s a trap cos I’m sat here talking to you! When we find out how this story unravels, bad Jai might be coming back. He can be quite nasty you know,” he explained, “If you are an Emmerdale fan and you have been watching this story, Jai is gonna find out tonight and the consequences will be on Thursday. You have got to keep watching because it gets better. There might be a stunt involved and you know that Rishi was killed in an argument at the top of the stairs, it might come back round.”
