ITV Emmerdale’s vile Tom King lashes out in rage as Belle Dingle’s lie rumbled
Emmerdale spoilers for next week on the ITV soap reveal Belle Dingle's fib to controlling husband Tom King is caught out, leading to him exploding with rage in dramatic scenes
Emmerdale airs horrifying scenes next week on the ITV soap, as Tom King lashes out after failing to keep control of his wife Belle Dingle.
The character has been coercively controlling his wife for weeks, with her not able to see what has been going on. She has questioned some of his behaviour, calling him out over digs at her family, him interfering with her work and him also breaking the ornament that contained her late mother’s ashes.
But immediately after standing up to him, Belle is soon left apologising and begging for forgiveness as Tom has managed to manipulate her into thinking she is in the wrong. Claiming to feel anxious when around her and acting like he’s the one living in fear, Tom’s plan to isolate and control Belle seems to be working as he continues his vile comments and behaviour.
Recently, viewers saw him meddling with her business plans and even sabotaging a deal Belle had with Suzy Merton and Leyla Harding. He’s trying to stop her from having any independence especially with her career, and this will only continue.
Next week, spoilers reveal that Tom continues to stalk Belle via an app he downloads on her phone. He can see her whereabouts at all times, and this ends up seeing her lie caught out.

It seems Belle is keen for some space away from her husband, as next week episodes show her claiming to be at work when she’s actually at The Hide enjoying a party. Belle tells Tom she will be late from work, so when he sees she’s on the move he’s livid.
Belle feels guilty as she covers that she’s still at work, when actually she is elsewhere and when Tom calls her to find out her whereabouts, she fakes where she is. What she doesn’t know is that Tom is following her on the app and knows where she really is.
Furious, he walks into the venue and spots his wife drinking, leaving her face dropping as she realises she’s been caught out. Tom does his best to stop his passive aggression leaking through his good humoured facade, as he pretends to be cool with Belle staying and enjoying the party alone.
But Tom loses it when he gets home and ends up trashing the house in a fit of rage, unable to bear the fact he hasn’t got full control over Belle. How will he explain the mess at the house when Belle returns?
Meanwhile, viewers are convinced the character will be punished for his abuse and controlling behaviour towards Belle, which is going to escalate. A crucial mistake on Tom’s part could see him killed off when his actions eventually come to light to Belle’s family.

Viewers were quick to point out that Belle is a Dingle, and she has some relatives you would not want to mess with. Some of the characters have a history of violence, prison time and even links to murders.
Tom’s own villainous father Carl King was murdered due to his ties with Chas Dingle after all. Some fans are convinced Belle’s turmoil will be exposed to her brother Cain Dingle and her nephew Aaron Dingle, both of whom are known for taking revenge on those who wrong them or their family.
So has Tom’s behaviour foreshadowed a gory end for him when his vile abuse gets found out? There’s every chance Cain, Aaron and the others will want justice for Belle and will take revenge, and this could see him killed off in scenes that mirror his father’s demise in 2012.
Taking to social media, one fan posted: “He forgets she’s a Dingle. He will be sorry,” as another said: “He will rue the day he messes with a Dingle he is just getting started it will only get worse.” A third fan commented: “Belle, tell Cain and Aaron what’s going on.”
