Emmerdale fans can expect drama on the way including hints of an affair, a possible engagement and a possible murder being teased.
There’s also dark scenes for Tom King as his abuse towards Belle Dingle heightens. The character goes to huge lengths to keep her under control, but when this backfires will he turn nasty?
Two village legends look set to wed at some point, with scenes next week seeing a proposal, over 20 years on from their first wedding. Then there’s villain Amit Sharma being up to no good, as he sets his sights on a new target.
But could one soap legend be killed off as he gets too close to the truth about Amit’s crimes? Finally there’s teasers of an affair as families stay apart following a betrayal. Here’s the biggest moments happening on the soap next week…

Affair rumbled?
Nicky is left surprised when a slanging match between Ruby and Nate leaves his mum completely unflustered. Caleb is left unimpressed when he realises his wife is only making things more difficult for him and the Dingles.
Nicky is finding it hard watching constant rows between his parents and he’s quick to stick up for his mum when Caleb demands to know what she has said that has upset Nate so much. Caleb is left frustrated by Ruby’s apparent constant need to bring his family down and ruin his chance of ever reconciling with the Dingles.
Caleb starts to feel guilty later that night when Ruby tells Nicky what she gave up in order to be with his dad and it’s clear that she is convinced his relationship with his family is a threat to their future together. Nicky suggests to his mum that maybe an apology to Nate might be a good idea and she decides it might be a way to win him back.
Nate decides to accept Ruby’s apology and as the pair start to bond about the betrayals they have both faced, Caleb walks in and is surprised to see them all talking so amicably. However, he’s gutted when Nate makes it clear that he hasn’t forgiven Caleb.
Are things going to work for Ruby and Caleb – or has she pushed him too far? In her first scenes, it was very obvious that Ruby liked the look of Nate, when she attempted to flirt with him before the big cheating revelations, so could this truce between Nate and Ruby be a sign that the pair might even end up with one another?
Amit’s next victim
Emmerdale killer Amit Sharma may strike again (

Emmerdale killer Amit Sharma may strike again next week on the ITV soap, as a soap legend vows to expose his recent crimes. Eric Pollard could end up dead like his tragic pal Rishi Sharma, Amit’s brother, as he goes snooping with the help of Vinny Dingle.
It follows on from Amit targeting Eric in a plan to fleece him, only for Eric to seemingly rumble him. In upcoming episodes, Amit enquires about Pollard’s wealth and forms a cunning plan, as he attempts to gain the village favourite’s trust.
Eric is intrigued when charming Amit presents a lucrative business proposition amid their bong growing, but his friend Rodney Blackstock is concerned. Rodney advises Eric away from Amit, which he ignores and soon Amit manipulates him into making a deal with him.
Pollard’s all in as he commits to their joint venture, but he tells Amit he needs to discuss it with partner Brenda first before signing any deal and sending any money over. It remains to be seen if Eric does part with his cash, but spoilers for next week tease their new bond has collapsed.
Eric is now eager to expose Amit, convinced he’s up to no good – even seemingly wondering if he betrayed his late brother Rishi. Eric could be Amit’s next victim as he sets his sights on exposing Amit, convinced he is up to something

Emmerdale could be lining up wedding number two for a couple, two decades after they first tied the knot in the 90s.
There’s a possible engagement on the cards next week, as spoilers tease a couple may take the next step. But it was 25 years ago that the very same couple got married, before divorcing one another two years later.
Now, Emmerdale legends Mandy Dingle and Paddy Kirk could tie the knot once more, as it’s teased they may get engaged. While it’s not confirmed if all goes to plan, the pair do look to the future in upcoming scenes.
Dark Tom King twist

Tom King goes to dark lengths next week to control his wife Belle Dingle, amid the soap’s new abuse storyline.
The couple, who wed earlier this year, have been on the rocks recently with Tom manipulating and being cruel towards his wife. Belle has stood up for herself against some of his behaviour, but she doesn’t appear to be aware of the extent of his antics, or his plan for her.
Spoilers for next week reveal there are two shifts in Tom’s plan for Belle, both to control her. One is darker than the other, but both are pretty twisted amid his attempts to keep Belle isolated and reliant on him.
Spoilers reveal Tom begins stalking Belle, tracking her whereabouts at all times via an app. He plans to keep surveillance on her whenever she’s not at home, no doubt checking up on her while also trying to control her further.
He then brings home a rescue puppy, telling Belle he wants them to raise the puppy. But it’s clear the is planning on Belle ditching her job so that she can stay at home and care for the dog, while he continues with work.
Belle refuses, telling Tom she’s not prepared to leave her job at a time where she’s trying to get her venture, and her opportunities with Suzy and Leyla, off the ground. Tom is visibly furious and will no doubt make Belle feel guilty about it all, but will he tell her his annoyance or will he find away to get what he wants?
