Emmerdale spoilers: Fairytale scenes confirmed in proposal for hugely beloved couple
It’s been a dicey few weeks for one of our favourite Emmerdale couples, but they are now set for a fairytale ending that even Walt Disney would be proud of.
Paddy (Dominic Brunt) has somehow survived strike one of both humiliating Mandy and refusing to acknowledge her as his girlfriend in front of an obnoxious old acquaintance, and in strike two, he kissed his ex Chas (Lucy Pargeter) in an emotionally-charged moment.
He’s shaping up to be a bit of a scallywag and quite frankly, our Mandy deserves better.
Thankfully, Paddy is fully aware of his muck ups, having described away the kiss as a ‘spontaneous lunge’, but the problem now is, he’s not sure how to undo the damage he’s done.
He’s feeling low knowing how much hurt he’s caused, and, feeling defeated, it’s Liam (Jonny McPherson) who encourages him to fight for his love.
Marlon (Mark Charnock) also wades in on his pal’s woes, telling Paddy he needs to go for it and take a risk to save his relationship. Tom (James Chase) suggests he do whatever it takes to sweep Mandy off her feet. Paddy reflects on this advice and formulates a plan.
While he’s pondering ways to right his wrongs, Mandy is having her mind taken off things with a pamper session by Amelia.
As Amelia indulges Mandy, Paddy purposefully marches over to the salon having been geed up by his pals’ words. But before he gets to the door, he seemingly bottles it.
Mandy’s pamper session ends with her feeling and looking like a princess as she dons a Cinderella outfit. Paddy makes his way back to the salon suitably dressed as her Prince Charming – he hasn’t bottled it after all.
With his princess stood in front of him, Paddy enacts the next stage of his plan – and drops to one knee.
Will they get their happily ever after with her saying yes?
