Emmerdale confirms surprise passion sealed with a kiss as dark abuse scenes are lined up in 24 new pictures
Between rekindled romances, surprise altercations and a showdown to end all showdowns, Emmerdale doesn’t hold back next week where the drama is concerned and Metro has a first look.
The ITV soap focuses on the tension between Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), following the former’s kiss with ex Chas (Lucy Pargeter) last week.
Paddy is encouraged by his nearest and dearest not to lose heart, with Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) suggesting that the vet fight with every fibre of his being to win back his one true love’s affection.
Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) is on the same wavelength as Liam, urging Paddy to lay it all on the line where Mandy’s concerned.
After giving some thought to the situation, Paddy corners Mandy – who is dressed in a Cinderella outfit, outside the salon – where he proceeds to get down on one knee and pop the question.
And of course the question we desperately want to know the answer to is: will Mandy say yes? Or is Paddy set to lose her forever as a result of his mistake?
Elsewhere in the village, it becomes apparent that Tom King (James Chase) is keeping Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) under constant surveillance, with upcoming scenes set to see him open a tracking app, which informs him of his wife’s location.
Just when you thought he couldn’t get any worse!
And Eric Pollard (Chris Chitell) continues to dig into Amit Sharma’s (Anil Goutam) dodgy dealings, knowing he cannot be trusted.
With some assistance from Vinny (Bradley Johnson), Eric manages to gain access to Holdgate, where he proceeds to snoop for some clues as to what Amit is up to. But will he find what he’s looking for?
You’ll just have to tune in to find out!
