Emmerdale stars Matthew Wolfenden and Charley Webb split in November last year after five years of marriage and three children.

Following his split from wife Charley Webb in November last year, Matthew Wolfenden has taken to social media to gush about his new girlfriend Heather Scott-Martin. The 43-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to share a story post with his 199,000 followers.
He posted a snap of his new brunette ladylove as she flashed a huge smile at the camera and posed in a green top. The Emmerdale star wrote on top of the picture: “This smile is all I need,” alongside a red heart emoji for his personal trainer other-half.
Matthew proved he had well and truly moved on from his marriage split as he publicly declared his love for his new girlfriend. Charley, 36, announced their separation in November with a statement that read: “It is with love and respect that Matthew and I have decided to separate.
“We remain friends and our priority is the love for our children. For their sake, we would appreciate privacy at this time. C x.” Matthew remained silent on the split at the time, refusing to publically acknowledge the breakdown of his marriage.
However, after being targeted by trolls, Matthew put out a statement in January to confirm it wasn’t his decision to end the marriage and it was out of his hands.

He also clarified he had met Heather, with whom he was pictured with in London, after the split.
Matthew and Charley met on the set of Emmerdale, going on to have three children together and marrying in 2018.
The pair began dating in 2007 and announced they were expecting their first child in 2009.
Matthew went on to propose to Charley on Christmas day of that same year, and the couple welcomed their eldest son Buster in April 2010.

While the actors reportedly split in 2013, they later patched things up and Charley gave birth to their second son Bowie in December 2015.
The couple’s final child Ace was born in July 2019, with Charley frequently sharing updates on their family of five to social media.
The mum-of-three joined the ITV soap in 2002 when she was a teenager, while Matthew joined the long-running show four years later in 2006.
