Emmerdale spoilers: Taking down a killer! Eric Pollard is in danger as he battles evil Amit Sharma
Amit Sharma’s (Anil Goutam) eyes lit up with pound signs when he realised Emmerdale’s Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) is worth a fortune and rife for the scamming. But little did he know who he was taking on.
After learning this little fact, Amit challenged Pollard to a pool match. Nothing seemingly out of the ordinary there, except his plans to fleece him. In a bid to earn Pollard’s trust, he threw one of their games, satisfied he had Eric right where he wanted him.
Rodney warned Eric to be careful, but Eric needed no such warning – he’d cottoned on to Amit’s cheating ways and prepared himself for a fight.
Now, having seen through Amit’s fake outer shell, Pollard is on a mission to expose him for the shafter he is.
Amit has severely underestimated the ailing Eric Pollard. But now that Pollard’s after proving what a scum bag Amit is, he’s about to learn just how deep the issue goes.
Eric goes digging around for evidence. Amit does not take too kindly when he realises Eric is poking his nose in, and Eric finds himself on the receiving end of a warning from a murderer. But Eric can handle Amit, or so he thinks.
Pollard has Vinny (Bradley Johnson) on side, who facilitates his digging by swiping Amit’s keys to Holdgate, giving Pollard the perfect opportunity to go snooping for the evidence he’s desperately after.
He sneaks into the house, although he’s caught off guard by seeing the place where Rishi died. He’s edging closer to the truth.
Amit is not daft though and Vinny isn’t quite sharp enough to stop him from realising he’s being played – Vinny is talking in circles and Amit’s keys are missing, an easy code to crack.
Vinny tries to warn Eric to no avail as Eric has turned his phone to silent to stave off distractions during his search. What will Amit do when he catches him?
