Emmerdale spoiler video: A worrying day for the Dingles as three get major news
The Dingle family receive back their results of the BRCA2 genetic tests in a worrying new Emmerdale spoiler video.
Following the news that Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) had received a breast cancer diagnosis, she urged those closest to her to be checked for a genetic mutation.
The BRCA1 and 2 genes normally would protect a person from getting certain cancers, but in some circumstances, a mutation can prevent them from working and increase your chances of developing a range of different cancers.
Chas’s mum Faith (Sally Dexter) passed away in 2022 after her own battle, despite having a double mastectomy to aid her chances of survival.
This week’s tragic scenes have shown Chas struggle to accept that she too would require the surgery, but also looking ahead to the future in the hope that it would save her life.
At the hospital, her operation brought son Aaron (Danny Miller) and brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) back together after months of coming to blows with one another.
Whilst sitting in the corridors, the men realised that life was too short to be fighting, especially since they were both waiting for their own results to come back.
In a latest spoiler video, Cain is seen returning home to Butler’s Farm where wife Moira (Natalie J Robb) is sat with an envelope.
Meanwhile, Chas’s half brother Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and his son Nicky (Lewis Cope) open up their own results under the watchful eye of Ruby (Beth Cordingly).
The clip ends with Aaron sat alone in his apartment, tearing up and struggling to comprehend what he might be about to discover.
Upcoming scenes will see him struggle to tell his family, who have all tested negative for the mutation, that he is positive.
Worried about the impact it will have on his mum’s recovery, and the outlook for his own life, he suffers in silence whilst Chas celebrates their safety.
Will he be able to speak up to his family?
