Emmerdale confirms major news for the Dingles as chilling new abuse ordeal is confirmed in 20 pictures
Emmerdale dishes up an emotionally charged week for the residents of the eponymous village, with big news set to send shockwaves through one family, as Metro confirms in our new picture gallery.
The clan in question is the Dingles, with Cain (Jeff Hordley), Aaron (Danny Miller) and Caleb Milligan (William Ash) set to receive the results of the gene test, which will determine if they’ve inherited the faulty BRCA2 gene.
Cain opens the envelope that contains the piece of paper with his result on it and, much to Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) relief, he tests negative.
There is similar celebrations to be had over at Mill Cottage, as Caleb opens his results as Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) and Nicky (Lewis Cope) watching with anticipation.
Much like Cain, Caleb tests negative.
Aaron, however, is left in tears as he comes to realise that, unlike Cain and Caleb, he has in fact inherited the gene.
Elsewhere, Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) struggles to come to terms with Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) kiss and, despite her claims that she just wants to move on, she’s left devastated to find out that it was Chas who broke off the kiss – not Paddy!
Tom King (James Chase), meanwhile, berates Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) over her decision to postpone having children and, after it comes to light that Tom never informed Belle of a job opportunity she missed out on, there’s soon tension aplenty.
Later in the week at Marlon’s (Mark Charnock) party at Wishing Well, Tom’s abuse gets much worse.
It’s quite a week for the ITV soap.
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, March 18 and Friday, March 22 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
