Emmerdale’s Ruby Fox-Miligan ‘set to get’ her comeuppance – but not at the hands of the Dingles
Emmerdale’s deliciously brutal Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) has made no shortage of enemies since rocking up in the eponymous village earlier this year.
The latest in a long line of schemers, Ruby wasted little time in making her presence felt upon her debut, becoming the talk of the village as she rekindled a spark with ex Caleb Milligan (William Ash) in steamy scenes.
But this was just the tip of the iceberg.
The brazen newcomer would prove braver than most as she proceeded to go toe-to-toe with the Dingles, antagonising just about every member of hubby Caleb’s beloved clan, bringing up their past mistakes during a dinner party.
She even confronted Cain (Jeff Hordley) and, despite the mechanic’s reputation, she remained unfazed, kneeing him in the groin in a bid to prove that she’s not afraid of him.
It wasn’t just the Dingles that she crossed.
She publicly humiliated Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) – who had been having an affair with Caleb – not once but twice, exposing the two’s passion at a wedding and then later making Caleb destroy his former lover’s business presentation.
Ruby well and truly takes the ‘hell hath no fury’ expression to a whole new level. The newcomer has waged war on many villagers since her arrival, leaving chaos in her wake.
But while the Dingles and Tracy would no doubt love to get their own back on Ruby and her brutal ways, I’m thinking that there’s only one person truly capable of taking her on.
I am of course referring to the icon that is Kim Tate (Claire King). Kim, as viewers know, has a bone to pick with Caleb, after he attempted to steal everything from her last year, revealing that he’s Frank Tate’s (Normal Bowler) son.
