Emmerdale confirms major exit as torment continues for three legends in 16 pictures
Emmerdale lines up tension and heartbreak aplenty next week, as previewed in Metro’s picture gallery above, with various residents finding themselves at a crossroads.
Emotions run high for Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), who opens up to former flame Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) about her upcoming double mastectomy and, swept upon in the familiarity of the situation, they share a kiss.
Paddy hun, what are you thinking?
The vet swiftly comes to his senses and realises he made a mistake. As a result, he wastes little time in filling Mandy (Lisa Riley) in about what transpired.
Mandy doesn’t react as you might expect, which leaves Paddy concerned that he’s blown it. Chas, meanwhile, is later taken into surgery.
Afterwards, The Woolpack landlady is overwhelmed and the magnitude of her operation dawns on her. Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) is right by her side to offer her support and, as the Dingles made clear last week, she’s surrounded by love.
And speaking of those in need of support, Charity (Emma Atkins) is still seriously struggling following the incident which saw her unknowingly and regretfully stab her beloved Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) while having a night terror.
Mack, as viewers know, has proven incredibly supportive in the aftermath but Charity has felt unable to open up. As Mack’s babbles away, Charity leaves the house.
Worried sick, Mack swoops into action and searches high and low to locate her, successfully doing so on a roadside, where she’s broken down.
Can the couple open up about their feelings?
You’ll just have to wait and see. Elsewhere in the village, Nicola and Jimmy King (Nicola Wheeler and Nick Miles) are left utterly devastated when Angelica is sentenced to eight months in the secure children’s home.
As I said, you’re in for an emotional week.
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, March 11 and Friday, March 15 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
