Viewers know baby Ivy is Rhona’s biological daughter after Gus fraudulently used old fertilised eggs with his new wife Lucy.

In turn Gus is facing fraud charges for it and with Lucy dying in childbirth it means Ivy faces going into care.

Last week Gus proposed that Rhona frame Lucy for the fraud and he would withdraw his claims about the kidnapping.

They would then share custody of Ivy and co-parent.

But tonight after they reached an agreement, Gus tried to rush Rhona out of the house offering to meet any condition she had.

And there was a dark reason why.

As she left the house a man approached and told Gus: “I’m sorry I’m early, I promised the buyers I’d take some measurements.”

Rhona realised what was going on and was furious, saying: “Buyers? You told me you’d cancelled the sale.”

The very helpful estate agent then told her: “We complete on Friday.”

Furious Rhona turned on Gus saying: “And what were you going to do Gus? Take off with my daughter once I’d got you off the fraud charge?

“There was no deal. You’re a liar and a thief and a cheat. And I am going to make sure you get sent down for what you’ve done.

“Let me explain, the minute this ridiculous kidnapping charge is laughed out of court, I will not rest until I have Ivy at home with me where she belongs.”
