Emmerdale spoilers: Sparks fly for flirty Ella Forster and Liam Cavanagh as they share an unexpected interest
Emmerdale’s Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) is quite successful with the ladies it has to be said, meaning he’s probably a dab hand at deploying a well-timed chat up line or two.
He’s also a pro at using his bumbling clod act to disarm and charm. But in this case, it’s his potting skills that might just get him into Ella’s pants.
Having moved on from Chas (Lucy Pargeter) as she focuses on her health, Liam is quite taken with newcomer Ella (Paula Lane), who has made waves in their surgery with her skills as a receptionist.
Ella hasn’t been in the village for very long but already she’s started to make quite a few friends. She connected well with Mandy (Lisa Riley) at the vet gala, and then offered some help with Dawn (Olivia Bromley) when she was struggling to feed baby Evan.
Away from Ella’s new pals, Wendy (Susan Cookson) first noticed the sparks between her and GP Liam as they flirted right in front of her eyes. Not borne out of jealousy, it turns out they really were having a good old flirt.
Things are hotting up between the two as they bond over a shared interest: houseplants. Liam’s hoping to show her his Snake Plant while getting a close up of her Fiddle Leaf Fig.
It’s a thorny issue for Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), who is concerned that they’re getting so close.
