“I had a scare last year,” she explained. “I found a lump in my right breast and when I went in to see the doctor, he said he was more concerned about the one on my left.”
Continuing, Robb explained the similarities between her experience and Chas’s.
“I had absolutely no idea! Even though you’re feeling for things, you’re not really sure how to do it properly. So that’s why it’s so, so important.
“Luckily for me, they were benign. Be aware and check the boobies!”

In the ITV soap, Chas has encouraged her brothers Cain and Caleb and her son Aaron to book genetic tests after learning the cause of her cause is the faulty BRCA2 gene.
Speaking about the storyline, Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas, said: “I hope we can do it justice. It won’t be all doom and gloom, there will be ups and downs just like with anything. But I hope it looks and feels real. And if just a few people get help for breast changes that do not feel or look right, it could do some good too.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
