Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) has become the fall guy for a lot of disgruntled Emmerdale locals. He may well deserve it, but he doesn’t stand a hope in hell having five people out baying for his blood (and his bank account).
Ruby, Kim, Nate, Aaron, and even Cain are out to get Caleb for his cheating and scheming ways. A barrage of revenge is heading his way, and he doesn’t even see it coming.
Ruby (Beth Cordingly), the most unhinged of the lot, has some nasty plans for Caleb – made all the nastier by the fact he has no idea of her true intentions. As far as he’s concerned, they’re back on track.
They’ve called off the divorce, Tracy (Amy Walsh) is somewhat of a distant memory, and he’s shown Ruby that she’s the only woman for him. For her, the games are just beginning. She wants to take him for every penny and has teamed up with Kim Tate (Claire King) to help rinse him. Kim Tate is now well on board.
Caleb tells Ruby he’s organising the car firm’s accounts to show Nate (Jurell Carter), which piques her suspicions, and she tells him she knows he’s hiding something. Caleb reluctantly shows her the accounts, inadvertently playing right into her hands.
Later, when Caleb is in the throes of dealing with Nate’s revenge plan in action, Ruby appears to kick him when he’s down with an impossible demand. She’s upset by his emotional betrayal and insists he prove to her that she is the priority by humiliating Tracy.
She has a big presentation coming up about the nursery and Ruby sees this as the perfect opportunity – she tells Caleb he must ruin it to prove his loyalty to his wife.
While all that’s going on, Nate, Aaron (Danny Miller), and Cain (Jeff Hordley) are cooking up trouble. Caleb tries to clear the air with Nate, but Nate isn’t interested. Kim watches the interaction and later finds a way to rile up Nate more.
When he spots Caleb talking to Tracy, Nate snaps and confronts him, demanding to be bought out of the car firm. When Caleb says it’s not that easy, Nate resorts to violence.
Cain sees it happen and realises he needs to support Nate more, so Aaron makes a suggestion that he seek his own revenge. But he’s not prepared for Nate’s response – he wants help stealing Caleb’s cars.
Aaron isn’t overly keen in getting messed up in all of that again, but after a heart to heart the three of them agree to go along with Nate’s plan. With the cars all stolen, there’s just Caleb’s personal motor left, for which Nate has a special plan.
As Caleb realises his business has been robbed, Ruby emotionally blackmails him over Tracy at the moment Nate approaches with the badge of his Bentley to tell him it’s been crushed.
Aaron and Cain are there to witness Caleb’s humiliation and Caleb is distraught to realise their involvement. But it’s just the tip of the iceberg as no one, particularly Ruby, is done with him just yet.
