‘Do better!’ fume Emmerdale fans as they sink claws into writers for ‘vomit-inducing’ concert scene blunder
Fans pointed out THREE reasons why the scenes were unrealistic
EMMERDALE fans have been left fuming with the show over what they have labelled a ‘vomit-inducing’ blunder.
Viewers were left delighted when it appeared as though popstar Dua Lipa could be about to make a cameo on the ITV soap.
Nicola and Jimmy King had treated their kids to tickets to see Dua in Hotten in a bid to life the family’s spirits ahead of daughter Angelica’s impending court case for killing Heath in the New Year car crash.
Angel had been feeling low since the events and fearful that she could be torn away from her family forever with a prison sentence likely.
It caused her parents to spring into action in a bid to make plenty of memories with Angel and the concert appeared the perfect way to do so.
However, disaster quickly struck when Jimmy forced everyone to leave their mobiles at home with Nicola then realising all the tickets were on her phone.
After failing to convince the security to let the clan in, the day looked to be ruined as the gig got going.
The family ended up listening to the show in the car park as Dua’s vocals could be heard blasting from the local Hotten stadium.
However, the scenes left fans perplexed as they questioned many elements of the ‘vomit-inducing’ scene.
Fans could not help but point out a series of unrealistic flaws in the plot.
Many were left wondering why one of the world’s biggest music stars would be playing a concert in a local Yorkshire town.
It also appeared to be going on in the day as it was still bright outside, despite the true likelihood that such a star as Dua would not begin a gig until the evening time.
Stadium shows are further a highly unlikely occurrence in February due to weather conditions with many stars opting to play outdoor gigs in the summer.
Remarking on the mishaps, one fan said: “What day of the week is this concert supposed to be? During the day also. Them dancing around like idiots. Writers please do better.”
Another penned: “Are we expected to believe Dua Lipa is playing there?”
A third added: “I’ve just puked in my mouth at them dancing in car park at the concert.”
Before a fourth said they’d “never forget it”, writing: “Angel getting Dua Lipa tickets for her matinee show at Hotten as a reward for causing death by dangerous driving. I’ll never forget it never!”
As someone else echoed: “Your child recklessly kills someone so let’s treat her to a Dua Lipa concert!”
