Emmerdale spoilers: Killer Kim Tate’s revenge as she unites with another villager to destroy Caleb Milligan
Emmerdale’s Ruby (Beth Cordingly) is either off her rocker, or an absolute savage genius. She wants revenge on Caleb Milligan (Will Ash), so she recruits his biggest enemy. Level: Expert.
Ruby blew into town like a whirlwind under the pretence of visiting her son when really it was to get her doomed marriage back on track.
Her plan to halt their divorce proceedings has been a bit of a weird one as she’s gone about it by alienating herself from Caleb’s family while trying to get into his pants at every chance she gets.
Caleb has been indulging her libido, but with seemingly no intention of keeping their marriage afloat. Ah, how he underestimates the ferocity of a scorned woman. Ruby is not someone who simply accepts not getting her way.
Caleb has also been foolishly in the belief that everything is done and dusted with Kim Tate (Claire King). In fairness, so did she – until Ruby breezes through her door.
Ruby has been becoming increasingly frustrated with Caleb’s lack of attention. It’s the final straw when he chooses the Dingles over her, and she realises she’ll never be his number one. This calls for Def Con 5.
Instead of being someone who’ll simply accept defeat, she’s the kind of person to pull the pin on the hand grenade, lob it, and calmly walk away. If he won’t give her his attention, she’ll take it.
Ruby settles on an idea – she decides to recruit Caleb’s biggest enemy. She approaches Kim and plots a way to make Caleb truly suffer.
If she can’t have him, no one can, and Kim is only too happy to oblige.
