Emmerdale spoilers: Cruel groom leads to wedding chaos while sparks simmer for a surprise couple
It’s the day that Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has been looking forward to – and the one Emmerdale viewers have been dreading – in next week’s Emmerdale episodes.
Tom King’s (James Chase) true colours rear their head again as the wedding gets underway and it seems Belle has made the biggest mistake of her life when her new husband is scathing and cruel at the reception.
And there’s more chaos on the day too as Ruby Fox (Beth Cordingly) prepares to exact her revenge on Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh).
After seeing a heated exchange between the former lovers, she takes a stand at the reception – and big drama follows…
Monday February 12
Exhausted Dawn juggles the needs of her three children. Later, Bear’s supportive when Dawn breastfeeds in the pub and Ella steps in.
Tom is thrown to realise Belle doesn’t want to take his surname. Belle offers a reasonable explanation and Tom is thwarted.
As Ella settles into working at the surgery, Wendy detects a spark between her and Liam.
Tuesday February 13
As the name situation weighs on Tom’s mind, Belle agrees to become Mrs King.
Ruby’s intentions towards Caleb remain clear.
Is Wendy onto something with Ella and Liam?
Wednesday February 14
Plans are afoot for Belle’s night at Wishing Well ahead of her wedding. Belle’s emotional ahead of her big day due to the absence of both her parents and moots cancelling but Tom’s hurt, reminding her neither of his parents will be there either and storms off in a mood.
Tracy is hurt to see Caleb and Ruby out together but feigns nonchalance. Later, Ruby asks for Nicky’s advice on how to win Caleb back.
That evening, Caleb and Tracy exchange a few words on Main Street and having witnessed the interaction, Ruby’s vengeful.
Thursday February 15
It’s the day of the wedding and Belle’s not heard from Tom and doesn’t even know if it is going ahead as Tom continues to ignore her calls. Although Lydia and Mandy do their best to rally her, Belle worries it is all off.
Meanwhile Jimmy tries to give Tom perspective and soon Belle’s relieved when Tom texts to confirm the wedding is still on. Now able to enjoy her wedding day, she enjoys being fussed over by Lydia and Mandy.
There’s excitement amongst the guests as they prepare for the wedding outside the church. Just in the nick of time, Sam arrives to give Belle away, bringing a letter from Lisa with him. Tom’s frustrated by the Dingles’ oddities as the ceremony commences.
The couple prepare to take their vows and after a couple of minor hiccups, they finally get wed. Belle and Tom take some time to greet their guests after the ceremony. The Dingles celebrate in typical Dingle style – much to Tom’s chagrin.
The rowdy Dingle traditions begin to grate on Tom at the wedding reception. Tom’s fuming that Belle’s wild family has seemingly ruined their big day.
Ruby keeps her mischievous plans close to her chest. Arriving at the wedding reception, Ruby deliberately creates an awkward atmosphere and, intent on causing mayhem, she dramatically interrupts proceedings.
Suzy’s stressed as the supposedly sophisticated wedding descends into chaos. She’s grateful when Mary offers to help.
Friday February 16
Tracy is left in shock after recent events, while Caleb’s eager to rectify things with his family.
Kyle gives Caleb some advice regarding Cain.
